                                The Course is designed to develop Venturer Scouts in all aspects of Leadership Skills including:

                                                                Effective Public Speaking,                  

                                                                Communication

                                                                Planning and Organisation

                                                                Goal setting

                                                                Decision Making     and

                                                                Team Building.

Location:             Eumeralla Scout Camp, Great Ocean rd. Anglesea, Vic

                                Date:                     Friday 23^rd July – Sunday 25^th July 2010

                                Times:                   Start time – 7.00p.m. (Friday)

                                                                                Finish time – 4.00p.m. (Sunday)

                                Cost:                      $60.00, includes accommodation, all meals and course materials.

                                How to apply:    a) Complete a TR1 form **

                                                              b) Complete a Personal Information form **

                                                             c) Deposit of $20.00. Cheque payable to  Geelong Region Venturers

                                What to bring:   Venturer Record Book

                                                                                Sleeping/toiletry gear

                                                                                Change of neat casual clothes (NO torn jeans or the like)

                                General:             

1. To qualify, your attendance and participation is required for the duration of the course.
2. Remember, that attendance is not a pass, participation is!
3. Full Uniform is to be worn to and from the course and also at specified times.
4. Further course details will be provided on receipt of your Application forms (TR1) and deposit.
5. Parent/Guardian approval is essential for all course applications
6. Applications to attend the course will be limited to 3 per unit
7. It is desirable that applicants be 16yrs of age and have completed a Unit Management course
8. Closing date for applications is Thursday 15^th July

Applicants who are 16yrs or older will be given preference and units will be restricted to having no

more than 3 members represented on the course
