The GEELONG PENINSULA DISTRICT BADGE
The Geelong Peninsula District was formed in 1984 as a merger of the Geelong City District and Bellarine District. The badge uses the lighthouse from the Bellarine badge and the T&G bell from the Geelong City badge. The wool bale reflects the wool trade of the city and the sheep for the farming on the peninsula, all surrounded by Corio Bay
