Peter joined the Scout Movement as an Assistant Cub Scout Leader in the now defunct 1st Upper Barwon Scout Group in 2002. He transferred to become Cub Scout Leader at 1st Modewarre in 2006 where he remained until 2010 when he took on the role of DLATS. During his time as a Cub Scout Leader peter was awarded the Silver Arrowhead Good Service Award in 2010 and completed his Wood Badge in 2005. Peter is eagerly awaiting the presentation of his Leader of Asults Woodbadge. |
Geelong Rivers District Phil walked off the street one day to become a Venturer Leader in Geelong Peninsula District in 1976. Since then he has remained in the Scout Movement, he had a stint as Assistant District Commissioner before returning to become a Venturer Leader at 1st Bannockburn before quickly becoming Group Leader. Phil took on the role of DLATS in 2008. Phil earned his Venturer Wood Badge in 1978 and is on the last stages of completing his Leader of Adults Wood badge. During his 34 years in Scouting as a leader Phil has been awarded the Silver Wattle Good Service Award in 2008. |
Geelong Peninsula District Scott joined the Scout Movement at the time that his children started at Cubs (his daughter is currently a Venturer). He joined Leopold as an Assistant Cub Scout Leader in 2004, completing his Cub Scout Wood Badge in 2006. Scott has attended two Cuboree’s in 2005 and again in 2008 where he went as a Pack Akela. During 2010 Scott became DLATS because his workload meant he could not commit to the weekly Cub meetings. Scott seems to be missing Cubs so much that he volunteered to help in the kitchen at the 2011 Cuboree. Scott is in the final stages of completing his Leader of Adults Woodbadge. |
